How to apply?
Exchange students
- Students are selected by their university
- Possibility of taking 4th or 5th year courses (FISE2 or FISE3)
- Application deadline:
Winter semester or full year: mid-May
Spring semester: end-October
Non-exchange students
- Online application on our website: concours.telecom-st-etienne.fr
- If your application is shortlisted, selection interviews will be held at Télécom Saint-Etienne.
- Possibility of joining the school in 3rd or 4th year (FISE1 or FISE2)
- A minimum B2 level in French is required
- Applicants must follow the “Études en france” procedure https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance/dyn/public/authentification/login.html
Double Degree
- Students are nominated by their university
- TSE selects from among applicants
- A minimum level of B2 in French is required
- Confirmation date: mid-May
Registration fees
In accordance with the decree of April 19, 2019 and the decisions voted by the Board of Directors of the Université Jean Monnet, registration fees at Télécom Saint-Etienne for students from outside the European Community for the year 2024-2025 will be :
- For enrolment in the Integrated Preparatory Cycle (CITISE): €2,770
- For enrolment in an engineering diploma: 3,879 euros
- For enrolment in a DCIMN Master’s degree: full exemption
Students already enrolled at the Université Jean Monnet in 2023-2024, or on a mobility program with their home institution in 2024-2025, are not affected by these fees.
In addition to these fees, there is the Contribution à la Vie Etudiante et de Campus (CVEC) of €103 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
