Become a great communicator!

The Communication Design, Innovation and Digital Mediation course offered by the Master’s program is part of the Information-Communication Master’s program on the Lyon-Saint-Étienne site. It is supported by the UR ELICO 4147 laboratory.

This Master’s program is available as a standard course (M1 standard and M2 sandwich course) or as a sandwich course (Master 1 & 2). It is unique in that it places design, social science and digital methods at the heart of the training program, so as to encourage the inclusion of digital data and usages in innovation and mediation processes.

It aims to develop skills in implementing and communicating digital projects (usage studies, digital tools, web development, social networks, graphic design, video), as well as writing a dissertation.

Training benefits

Innovative teaching methods for project-based learning!

The Master’s courses are organized in group or individual “project mode” and include external service providers for “challenges”.
Project mode is ideal for combining the theory and practice inherent in the innovation process.
It is also an opportunity to work across disciplines, in the form of workshops (design thinking workshop, digital fabrication workshop, service design workshop) with students from other disciplines, enabling them to develop multiple skills and cross-disciplinary knowledge.
Students have access to state-of-the-art equipment for learning linked to new technologies and adapted to the professional world: a video recording studio, cameras, tablets and interactive whiteboards…
Classes are held in an environment in line with these new practices, such as hybrid classrooms and co-working spaces.
Professional lecturers at the heart of the training program: graphic designers, photographers, videographers, web designers… will train you to give you the skills you need for the job of communicator.
