Télécom Saint-Etienne was one of 7 local players selected to work on the LoireConnecTID project led by the Loire department, which was chosen in the “Intelligent and sustainable territories” call for projects as part of the “France2030” program.
With an investment of 3 million euros, this project aims to strengthen public services thanks to digital technology, while respecting the requirements of the energy transition.
The “LoireConnecTID” project will focus on 3 main objectives:
- The introduction of services based on connected objects for social housing tenants and dependent persons.
- Extend connected object trials to all local authorities in the département.
- The creation of a territorial hypervisor for digital data management.
Télécom Saint-Etienne’s role in the project :
- Design of a data lake: via 2 end-of-study internships (FISE 3), 1 engineering project (FISE 2) and expert time
- Evaluation of the transport flows of the box des fragilités: via 1 end-of-studies internship (FISE 3), 1 engineering project (FISE 2), the recruitment of a technician for 2 years and time spent as an expert.
- The organization of a workshop with the Conseil Départemental from April 7 to 11, 2025 and the school’s M1 DCIMN students on the study of the use of the box des fragilités among the target public: study of uses, analysis of data from the box des fragilités, construction of data visualization tools, proposal and prototyping of additional services that could be offered.
