CM1-CM2 pupils recently had the opportunity to visit Télécom Saint-Étienne as part of an initiative to raise awareness of higher education among young people, particularly those from disadvantaged neighborhoods. The aim of this educational visit was to introduce them to the opportunities offered by engineering courses, and to arouse their interest in these promising fields.

Our aim? To democratize access to engineering studies and encourage vocations among young people, regardless of their social background. We firmly believe that every child should have the chance to dream big and project themselves into promising careers.
On the program for the day:
- Visit the premises and discover the equipment: Students explored Télécom Saint-Étienne’s infrastructure, including research laboratories, interactive classrooms and collaborative work spaces.
- Meeting students and teachers: They had enriching exchanges with students in training as well as with passionate teachers, sharing their experiences and answering all their questions.
- Fun and educational workshops: Interactive and educational activities were organized to introduce students to science and engineering in a fun way. They were able to take part in scientific experiments, technological demonstrations and creative challenges, stimulating their curiosity and desire to learn.
Our commitment:
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to promoting equal opportunities and supporting the academic success of all students, whatever their social background or environment. In this way, we hope to inspire a new generation of future engineers, ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
