The registration fee for the Geipi Polytech competition is 60 €, 0€ for scholarship holders.

Tests for the 2021 competition

File study
For students in Terminale Générale in 2020-2021, the subjects taken into account are
– Mathematics speciality in Première
– Physics and Chemistry in Première
– English in Première
– Bac de français
– Terminale mathematics speciality (or complementary maths option)
– The 2nd scientific speciality in Terminale (Physics Chemistry or Life and Earth Sciences or Numerical and Computer Sciences or Engineering Sciences or Biology Ecology)
– English in Terminale

The results (report cards, common evaluations, final tests of the specialities, Bac marks) in these different subjects lead to a file mark for each candidate.

Motivation interview
Candidates whose file marks are judged sufficiently high by the jury will be invited to a motivation interview. This will take place between 20 April and 12 May 2021.
The interview will take place on Wednesday 5 May at Télécom Saint-Étienne.

Written test
The majority of the other candidates will be called to a 3-hour written test, which will include
– A mathematics subject* (2 hours)
– A subject to be chosen from one of these 4 subjects: physics-chemistry, digital and computer sciences, SVT or engineering sciences (1h)

*Only part of the mathematics subject will be accessible to candidates who have taken the complementary maths speciality in Terminale.

The written test will take place on the afternoon of Friday 30 April.
