The Robotics Association

Since 1995, Projet & Tech’, the Télécom Saint-Etienne Robotics Association, has taken part every year in the French Robotics Cup, organised by Planète Sciences (formerly the E=M6 Cup). It is a challenge bringing together student-engineers, engineers and enthusiasts from all over France!

The team is composed of first year students and second year students, supported by Projet & Tech’: Legacy, the robotics team of Projet & Tech’ alumni. The first year students learn the basics from the second year students and alumni who happily pass on their knowledge. These students are in charge of designing two autonomous robots capable of carrying out the actions detailed in a set of rules renewed every year!

In addition to the competition, this association aims to improve the technical skills of its members in various fields, both from a theoretical and practical point of view. We also take part in numerous events for the general public or for schoolchildren to help them discover our passion. Moreover, the members of the association learn to work in a team on a long term project, even though it is very limited in time, to pass on their knowledge and to manage a project: these are essential skills for future engineers!
