Since 1995, Télécom Saint-Etienne’s “Projet & Tech” Robotics Association has taken part in the annual Coupe de France de Robotique, organized by Planète Sciences (formerly known as the “Coupe E=M6”). This high-profile challenge brings together engineering students, engineers and enthusiasts from all over France!
The team is made up of 1st and2nd year students, supported by Projet & Tech: Legacy, the Projet & Tech alumni robotics team.
1st year students learn the basics from2nd year students and alumni who happily pass on their knowledge.
These students are in charge of designing 2 autonomous robots capable of carrying out the actions detailed in a new set of rules every year!
In addition to competition, the association aims toimprove its members’technical skills in a variety of areas, both theoretically and practically.
We also take part in numerous events for the general public and schoolchildren to help them discover our passion.
What’s more, members of the association learn to work as a team on a long-term project that is nevertheless very limited in time, to pass on their knowledge and to manage a project: essential skills for future engineers!
